Forums

This website will be the official platform and public image of our association. It will consist of a public element and a private element.

The public side of the website will outline who we are, what our aims are and will also have a link to the GMOA Twitter and Facebook accounts where we will constantly publish and issue press releases aimed at promoting our aims and our ethos to a wider audience.

The private side of our website will be exclusive to our member’s. We will have discussion boards and forums where all our members can go to speak freely and to seek the opinions of fellow match officials from around the country. The discussion forums are currently under construction and will be available to our members shortly.  There will be a demonstration available so as to ensure that those who have never utilised a facility like this before will be able to participate.

All members will be able to create their own user name and password allowing all members to access the site and take part in the discussion forums while at the same time protecting their anonymity allowing everyone to speak freely without fear of reprisals from the relevant county or divisional boards.

The discussion boards will be monitored by elected moderators to ensure that discussions are relevant and useful. If you have an interest in taking a role as a moderator please let us know.

We also understand that not all of our members will have access to the internet or email and we shall continue to keep them informed in everything that we are doing by regular postal communications.
